Wheelhub Asia Prospect Camps

As part of the Junior Kiwis visiting Tasmania Cup, Wheelhub Asia along with Farm Tough Hockey ran College Prospects Camps where players had the opportunity to be coached and mentored by Inline Hockey Superstars Itan Chavira and Junior Cadiz from the USA national team.

Dom Browne of Wheelhub Asia, along with Itan Chavira and Junior Cadiz have been touring Asia and Australia with Development Camps for beginners and intermediate hockey players as well as the Farm Tough College Prospects Camps where players could be selected to join further opportunities in the USA.

The Camps were held over two days during the Tasmania Cup festivities with players from New Zealand and Australia with the top young talent in attendance. Players were able to get first hand one on one experience with professional players and show their talents.

Five KIHL Kiwis and one KIHL Australian were invited to join an All-Star Exhibition Match against a Tasmania Cup Tournament Team and get the opportunity to play alongside the current World Champions.

Kiwis Ryan Williams, Benoît Keast, Lincoln Gurnell, Jayden Kwan and Jackson McDowell along with KIHL Tasmania local Cooper Beck were selected to play in the College Prospects All-Star Team. KIHL Dolphins Captain Steven Adams was also selected to play in the All-Star Tournament Team.
